Rubber tiles
Rubber tiles are much more hygienic than the sand commonly used in children playgrounds and also are weather resistent and have anti slip properties. They can protect from injuries and absorb the impacts. Most commonly the tile size is 40 x 40 cm and it is available in different thicknesses - 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm и 40 mm. There are regulations about the minimal thicknesses of the tiles applied under swings, slides and other playing facilities in order to absorb the impacts, while the tiles used for alleys, for example, can be of any thickness. The installation is easy, because the full surface of the tile is glued with polyurethane glue. There are several different tile colours - red, green and black. Individual designs are also possible. The rubber tiles meet the regulations in BDS EN 1177 Impact absorbing floorings for playgrounds.
The thinner tiles have a wider range of applications - for alleys, arround swimming pools, thay cana lso be applied as outdoor flooring in hotels, etc. The available thicknesses and colours are stated above.
