One of our vendors, the Italian manufacturer Mondo, was chosen to cover the 340 metre straight line that comprises the London Millennium Bridge. This was a one-of-a-kind, prestigious installation, placed on the bridge in order to celebrate the forthcoming London Olympics in 2012. The challenging installation was successfully carried out by Mondo`s UK Track partner, who had only 8 hours to install this high profile track. To the great surprise of all the public, the event was unexpectedly attended by two international athletic stars: Tyson Gay, world champion for the men's 100 and 200 metres and Allyson Felix, world champion for the women's 200 metres at the last world athletic championships in Osaka, Japan. They performed a demonstration sprint on the new track and signed autographs.
Mondo were also chosen for the official supplier of the Athletic track, Basketball & Handball courts for the this year`s olympic games in Beijing, China.
