Rubber tiles
According to the Bulgarian National Standard EN 1177 the playground floorings should be impact absorbing. That means that they should soften the impact and protect the children from serious injuries. There are also standarts for the different playing facilities, but there are very few playgrounds in Bulgaria that meet all the requirements.
The first option for impact absorbing flooring are the rubber tiles. They are much more hygienic than the widespread sand, they do not depend on the weather conditions and have anti-slip properties. The protect from injuries and soften the impacts. The floorings come in tiles, sized 0.40 х 0.40 metres and is available in different thicknesses. The installation is easy, because the tiles are glued with poliurethane glue. There are several different tile colours - red, green, black...
The second option is a self-leveling rubber flooring - an efficient and durable option, which meets the BNS EN 1177, stable and lasting. The flooring is a homogenous mixture of rubber granules and resins, which are blended together and layed over a prepared base.
