Vinyl sport floorings
The suitbale floorings are:
1. Vinyl sport floorings - the floorings have superb sport properties and protect the sportsmen from injuries. The base is made of PVC foam, which offers the optimal combination of sport functionality and protection for the players. The glass fibre reinforced middle layer ensures good dimensional stability of the product. The vinyl sport floorings are suitable for town sport halls, school gymnasiums, gyms. They offer optimal grip due to their specific emboss. The vinyl sport floorings are available in several different thicknesses, to reach the standard for the type of sport that is going to be practised. The vinyl floorings are installed via full-surface gluing. The marking is made using a specific sport paint for marking playgrounds.
2. Polyurethane sport floorings - they are highly wear resistant, provide good ball bounce off and step comfort, considerably soften the impacts and reduce the chance of getting injured. The thickness varies between 6 and 12 mm. The flooring consists of several layers - impact absorbing layer of rolled rubber, pore filling primer, polyurethane self-levelling sport cover and a coloured matt finishing polyurethane finish. The marking is made using a specific sport paint.
3. Acrylic sport floorings - the floorings are environmentally friendly, have unique finish effect and high wear resistance, which makes them especially suitable for school gymnasiums. Their overall thickness is 6 to 12 mm. The floorings are made of rolls of recycled rubber which ensures excellent ball bounce off and additionally protects the player`s joints. The flooring ensures comfort and considerably reduces the chances of injury. The upper layer is polyurethane lacquer. The lacquer finish facilitates the cleaning of the flooring.
In addition to choosing the suitable flooring, you should particularly pay attention to the base. The floorings, discussed above, require flat and even solid base, clean from dirt and dust. If the base is flimsy, damp, or of poor quality materials, it may lead to substituting the entire flooring. Do not save money on the base, because it will make the entire project more expensive and requiring additional time for repairs.
