Trendtime 2006 – Style modifications
Trendtime remains true to its principles: tracking down modern desires of living and materialising them with a modern flooring collection and visually appealing pictures.
The launch of Trendtime in January was followed by the trendtour in order to check out the barometer of international design trends for the latest preferences. The Research and Development department could keep a sharp eye on the novelties presented at “Salone di Mobile”, the world’s most important interior design and furniture fair. The result are fine style modifications. An update harmonically integrated into Trendtime´s world of styles. Next year Trendtime has its focus on the evolution of Modern Style and New Style.
Modern & Mixed Culture Style
More clearly than last year the path in Modern Style leads to the combination of modern straightness and influences of styles derived from a variety of cultures. “Modern meets Mixed Cultures Style” – Neo-Baroque, Ethno Japan as well as African, Oriental and Mexican influences all fuse together.
As an example for this „Modern & Mixed Culture Style“ Parador further developed the already established “Modern Country Style” in the Trendtime collection, in particular represented by the new laminate floorings TT5 Botticino Classico, TT1 Oak Parisienne grey and TT1 Pine grey. From 2006 on especially the solid wood plank TT 1 in Jarrah promises to spread exclusive flooring ambience in ‚African Style‘.
Modern Style exotic
Lacquer, ornaments, teak and organic sculptures form the up-to-date collection of materials for the new time. Modern living is strongly dominated by decorative elements. Stylish end users, seeking an expressive flooring ambience in this range, can strike the “Modern Style exotic” in Trendtime II with floorings like TT2 Laminate Snakewood, TT1 Laminate Makassar, TT1 Laminate Palisander, TT1 solid wood flooring in Teak or TT2 solid wood flooring in Wenge.
New Style – Raw Materials
Organic roundings, fragmentation of shapes, reduced minimalism of forms. This is what makes up the New Style. A preference for and a new way of working with synthetic materials, crystalline shapes qapplied with the greatest of ease and high-tech with new production techniques. The New Style lives on in a modified way.
A flooring ambience, not playful, but showing a pure way of working with elements. This can be found in Parador Trendtime “New Style – Raw Materials”: from February 2006 on the flooring fans can choose between exciting laminate interpretations in oversized format like laminate flooring TT4 in Crude Steel, TT4 Concrete, and TT4 Birch Multiplex.
New Style – Modern Retro
Nowadays style elements of times past are part of modern furnishings. The past understood as a landmark for an invisible future. The retro look lives on. An “island in time” this style continues just where the colourful space-design once ended. At ground level Parador recalls the typical design of the sixties and seventies. The Trendtime bestseller “Stripes Green”, a colourful maxi-laminate in Contzen-design, is now accompanied by the new retro interpretations TT4 Blue Y and TT 4 Stripes Red.
