Forbo linoleum
The linoleum is a flooring entirely composed of natural materials. The main components are linseed oil, wood and cork flour, mineral fillers and a jute padding. The flooring is very commonly used in public areas, where hygiene is esential. It is so because of the natural curative and antibacterial characteristics of the linseed oil, which prevents the development of the most common MRSA bacteria. This feature makes the flooring particulary useful in hospitals, pharmacies and kindergardens.
The FORBO MARMOLEUM® flooring with Top Shield finish are an entirely natural and environmentally friendly product. They are applied in offices, hospitals, schools and public buildings. The floorings are burnproof and according to the European standarts have class M1 for burnproofness and class B1 for smokeproofness. They are antistatic and antialergetic.
The inovational Top Shield finish is the biggest succes in the area of linoleum in the last years. The natural homogenous floorings have long life which is upholded by a periodically layed "seal". This seal fills the micropores with a hardwearing chemical. The Top Shield finish is a factory layed finish, which does not need any change or repair during the first five years of the flooring`s life, which lowers the maintenance cost. Due to Top Shield the rich and unique colours of the Marmoleum flooring are hilighted and its original appearance is preserved during its long life.
