Skirting-boards and transitional strips create a sense of completeness and contribute to the overall good look of the flooring. There is a great variety of skirting-boards and transitional strips.
1. For laminate or parquete - skirting-boards may be made of solid wood, wooden with veneer from the respective tree, PVC or foiled MDF. Their height depends on the choice of the client and it may vary between 42, 60 or 70 mm.
2. For the vinyl floorings and the linoleum we recommend the PVC skirting-boards - 42 or 60 mm in height.
3. For carpets or carpet tiles - skirting-boards for carpets.
There is a great great variety of transitional strips - for one level, for differense in heights up to 1 cm, etc.
The installation of the skirting-boards includes:
1. Shipping of materials to the site
2. Mounting them using polyuretane glue and nails.
The installation of the transitional strips includes:
1. Shipping of materials to the site
2. Most of the strips are 2,70 m long. So they are cut to the desired length.
3. Mounting them using polyuretane glue and/or plugs.
