Podovi Nastilki Ltd has been created officially in 2003 and at the moment is one of the leading companies in the floorings area in Bulgaria.
Our work is related to finding the most suitable solution and applying it where it is needed.
The company started work in a small office in the Telecom building, Zaharna Fabrika, with main suppliers Witex, Forbo International, Emco, Аndac ad Mondo. In the beginning it was hard, but as the time passed we started broadening the range of our products - we concluded contracts with Forbo Erfurt - for supply of self-leveling compounds, adhesives, lacquers and ground coats, Domo Belgium - carpet and carpet tiles, Berti Italy - ornamented parquets.
We started with several big projects - nine floor office building of HVB Bank Biochim - with carpet tiles Domo; Covered bridge in Plovdiv - rubber flooring Mondo; Alexandrovska Hospital - cardiology and urology - Mondo rubber flooring; multiple offices, sport sites and private homes. Our team had grown and there was need of enlargement of our office. So in the end of the year we purchased three from all of Telecom's six floors and reconstructed the old one.
Company's development and growth has continued. With the increase of the amount of work the installation teams and the staff in the office had increased too. During the summer of 2005 we have signed contracts for installation of 6000 square meters Forbo linoleum in Sofia Airport's new terminal. We had lots of public buildings, hospitals, indoor and outdoor sport facilities, private homes. In November the company turned 1000 days and had a big party together with all friends, who have supported us through the years.
During the summer of 2006 opened our showroom in Sofia center. There the clients looking for better quality and luxury for their homes can see our laminates, three layer parquets and solid floorings. We started work on a number of big projects - replacement of the flooring in Stefan Makedonski National Musical Theatre, department for urgent cardiovascular surgery in St. Ekaterina Hospital, delivery and installation of 7 500 sq.m. carpet tiles in office building in Business Park Mladost, lots of sport sites, hospitals, administrative buildings and private homes. We started our campaign "Make a clean start", in order to popularize and raise the culture of habitation in public buildings.
This spring we were once again part of the exhibition Bulgarian Construction Week, where visitors had the opportunity to get familiar with the last novelties in the floorings area. The summer started and passed under the sign of sport - we finished lots of playgrounds, gyms, tennis courts and multifunctional sports grounds. We widened our range of products and we now offer access floors Netfloor and self-leveling compounds on acrylic base Polat.
We started the year with some big construction sites - 1400 sq. m. protective PVC covering in sports hall Samokov, some office buildings with Netfloor access floors, as well as other sites. In March, at the Bulgarian Building Week we introduced the new products from our vendors. At a presentation at the Union of Architects we presented the products from Netfloor, as well as suitable coverings for access floors. The access floors are getting more and more popular in office buildings, for which the great number of orders bespeaks. Parallel with this we continued our development in the area of sports floorings - now we offer products from Graboplast in order to satisfy more fully the requirements of our clients.
At the turn of the year we visited the Domotex exhibition in Hanover, where the latest trends in the field of the floorings were at focus. We also visited the Paravision exhibition organized by our partner - the German manufacturer PARADOR, where the new designer collections of laminate floorings, three-layer and massive parquets were presented. Our product range is also expanding - now it includes high-grade access floors by Quattro Pavimente - several complete projects are already behind our back. We are also expanding and enriching our product range in the area of the sport floorings - except for the artificial sport grass produced by Domo Grass we also offer artificial sport grass by the Chezch manufacturer Juta.
